Apple’s flatiron resort and campground is now under the control of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, according to The Huffington Posts.
The fire was reported on Wednesday evening after a tree was cut down in the park, which is located in Yosemite National Park.
Apple’s spokesperson told The Huffington Mail that the fire was contained to a section of the Flatiron property and no injuries were reported.
The Flatiron site was one of the first Apples to open in Yosemite in 2003 and is now home to a new Flatiron resort, two new campsites, a flat iron campground and a new bike shop.
It’s the first major fire in the Flatirons history.
The company told The New York Times that it had notified the Yosemite National Forest, and that it planned to send in more firefighters to fight the blaze.
